Martial Arts Bio

Mark Jambor (Apprentice Instructor)

Mr. Mark Jambor has been an incredibly active member of AMAA since opening here in Wisconsin. He is one of our orignal members, and joined at the age of 13.

With almost two years of prior martial arts experience, Mark retired his existing rank, to "unlearn" what he had learned, and started at AMAA as a "No-Belt". He discovered training here is entirely different than he had been priviosly exposed to, and he adapted incredibly well with great efficiency to the style and philosophy I instruct.

Now at the age of 16 and currently a "Red/Brown Belt", he is beginning his path as an instructor for our younger, beginner students, and is currently an "Apprentice Instructor".

His skill in both Modern Martial Arts and especially Escrima have grown exponentially, and his mind is like a sponge... he quickly learns to not only execute technique with speed, skill and power, but also to "apply" the concepts taught to him, and in turn pass this knowledge onto others.

Mark still instructs under my supervision and guidance, and is learning what it takes to be an instructor at AMAA. Mark is currently where I was at his age, on the beginning process to becoming an instructor qualified to lead. With skill, knowledge, desire, and youth on his side, he is proving to become a positive asset to AMAA and it's members.

Mr. Mark Jambor is a great example of what determination, desire, and effort can achieve for one's self. He has overcome many obstacles, and has grown and matured into a formidable martial artist, and a leader I feel confident to place in front of my students and families.

Mark traveled to France this summer with me for training "beyond martial arts" under my trainers, Francois & Theirry. His desire to grow in knowledge and ability is strong, and his ability to apply this knowledge is even greater. My hope is that other students follow in his steps, and one day too become leaders within our academy.

It is what we do... that defines us. This is the Warrior's Way.
