Kuraenoken is the result of a natural born talent for combat, combined with knowledge learned through many years of training, sublimated by a unique creativity. Kuraenoken is the manifest expression of this furious and lyrical force that pulses within.

If you possess even just a little of this flame that allows you to feel the force of our Art, this force that has just exploded before your eyes, sweeping away all of your certainties, all what you thought to know about the way and manners to be an Artist of Combat...

If from now then, you know what you want to try to achieve, and that nothing else will be able to compare with, without letting a feeling of dissatisfaction...

Then you may be the one that will take the most of this encounter, of this journey...

KURAENODEN: "Seeker's Lair"

Ihave begun this journey to attain a level beyond martial arts. Many years ago, I first began training under Francois, and experienced a level of martial arts I never imagined... now, again training under he and Thierry directly, and through Kuraenoken... I experience everything BEYOND MARTIAL ARTS.

The only way to understand any description I can offer, is to have lived this experience yourself. It's much like when I describe to people what it's like to skydive... unless you've made the jump yourself, you can't comprehend what it feels like.

In my many years of active training, I have NEVER come across two men such as Thierry & Francois. They are simply the epidemy of everything I have been seeking my entire life as a martial artist. They are the only trainers I seek... they are the only trainers I trust.

I have the rare priviledge and honor to host "SEEKER'S TRAINING" at my academy! As a Seeker, I do not teach KURAENOKEN, I only train myself and others who desire to train beyond martial arts. In these sessions, I am not a Kuraenoken instructor. I train to develop what I learn directly from them, and share this knowledge with others. Those who join me, may also train to develop their skill, and to prepare for seminars hosted by Thierry & Francois directly! These seminars occur 1-2 times per year here at AMAA.

The SEEKER'S TRAINING is only for the most serious and dedicated of practioners. I will not allow anyone in these sessions, who hinders the progress of others, due to a lack of intensity, ambition, or desire. In addition to these sessions, it is expected that each individual possess the drive to train alone. The skill I (and others) acquire in these trainings, only further develops my own skills, raises my level of ability to train my own students, and prepares me for future trainings under Thierry & Francois directly, whether here in the states, or in France.

If you wish to train with me during these sessions, you do not need to be an experienced martial artist... you must only have commitment, desire, and patience. These trainings will best prepare you for when Thierry & Francois host Kuraenoken Seminars at American Martial Arts Academy, and for your own journey beyond martial arts.
